In September of 1984 in a picturesque place on the bank of Saltovskoye reservoir the plant recreation centre “Blue Gulf” was inaugurated.

However, the breakdown of the USSR and conversion to market economy made top management find a new use of the recreation centre to support it financially was beyond possibility.

Nowadays the sport recreation centre is considered to be the best health resort of the Slobozhanschina region as to its popularity and comfort.

All the conditions for valuable rest and recreation are created here.

In 2008 tree-storied building of the recreation centre "Blue Gulf" was repaired thoroughly and equipped with new furniture, facilities, comfortable beaches and territory were created.

The new refrigerators, catamarans, boats were purchased for campers for a total amount of 61,2 thousand hryvnas.

There is a big fitness hall at the recreation center where there are many fitness facilities.

Table tennis, billiards, wind surfing are very popular among campers and they also can play football, basket ball, volley ball on the territory of the recreation centre.

The members of plant amateur theatricals almost every week visit "Blue Gulf" to show interesting concert performances.

In the time of existing the sport and recreation centre about 10 thousand turbine builders have taken a rest in the centre.

Only in 2008 "Blue Gulf" hosted 696 people.

A complete cost of a voucher is 1000 hryvhas. A cost of a voucher for the enterprise’s employees and children under 16 years old is 150 hryvnas (15 % out of its total cost).

A cost of a voucher for the members of a family is 500 hryvnas (50 % out of complete cost).

Besides, day-off vouchers are available to have a rest over days-off.

For 10.08.09 632 persons have taken a rest at the recreation centre, and 235 persons have taken a rest with day-off vouchers.
