It started in the middle of the 50-s of the last century when a club was created at the plant and the first groups of amateur theatricals appeared. The first chief and art director of the club was M.Y. Yakovlev.

Appearance at that time of the most interesting art group of musical and drama theatre also connects with that period of time.

With a lapse of time the theatre changed one-act musical plays for staging considerable musical and drama works of classical authors of the Russian and Ukrainian literature and modern authors. 

After performance in Kiev in 1960 at the final festival- contest of amateur theatricals of the Ukrainian theatres the theatre was awarded the title of “people’s” with a performance “May Night” after Gogol.

From beginning of the 60-s up to the 90-s of the XX century many other interesting groups of amateur theatricals and performers appeared at the works and the present-day amateur theatricals have taken over and carried on with dignity the glorious traditions 

People’s guest performance group, art groups of the plant club including choral group, brass band, variety show, women and men choral ensembles, dance group gained a great success at that time.

Vocalists, readers, performers of original genre rejoiced people with their art.

At present art director of the club O.Y.Kolesnik is the Honored Worker of social sphere of Ukraine who has been working at the plant since 1986.

Both as director of art groups and as a performer she is a laureate and winner of awards of the international, national, republic, regional, municipal, district festivals, festivals and contests of amateur theatricals.

Director of the club D.P. Fish has been working at the plant for 40 years and has a title “Veteran of plant”, he is awarded many letters of commendation and diplomas for achievements in the sphere of culture and a major contribution in development of amateur performances and amateur art.

K.G. Serov is considered to be a brilliant club’s accompanist. 

Costumier M.E. Kalashnikova who has been working at the enterprise for more than 50 years renders a great help in the club work. 

The art contribution in successful work of the amateur theatricals of P.G. Ovcharenko, an electrical engineer of Industrial Electronics Department can scarcely be overestimated who is taking an active part in all concerts at the plant.

Today the club has a vocal class, vocal and choral group, ensemble “Melody of love”, women and men ensembles, vocal quartets, trio duets, ordinary vocalists, dance groups, groups of small theatrical forms, musical circle of 8 constantly existing groups.       

The employees of 15 manufacturing shops and departments of the enterprise take an active part in work of the groups and circles.

Most of the groups and members of the amateur theatricals of the enterprise club were the laureates and winners of the diplomas of the international, all union, republic, regional, municipal and district festivals and amateur art festivals of the folk art.
