Net income of OJSC "Turboatom" at first six month increased at 2,5 times

First six month 2010 OJSC "Turboatom" finished with net income 126,075 mln. hryiv rate of increase for appropriate period of 2009 – 247 %.

 

Profit from sale of production consisted 522,335 mln. hryiv at year plan 1 mlrd. Hryiv with rate of increase 2009 – 162 %.

Rate of export in general scope of sales consisted – 86 %.

For accounting period plant transferred to state budget as taxes, duties, dividends, transfers to pension fund and other social funds 118,655 mln. hryiv. In generally for 2010 is planned to transfer over 200 mln. hryiv.

Average number of staff of enterprise 4 900 persns.

Average salary equivalent of full employment reached 2 620 hryiv., with rate of increase 109 %, including workers of main professions – 3915 hryiv.

First six months of current year expenses for technical re-equipment of enterprise consisted 7,4 mln. hryiv. For development of social sphere "Turboatom" transferred 5,1 mln. hryiv, annual plan 9,6 mln. hryiv.

For first six month 2010 at plant were manufactured and shipped one steam turbine with capacity 330 thous. kW and five hydroturbines, total capacity  52,3 thous. kW. Particularly steam turbine for Novocherkasskaya TPP unit No 9 (Russia), four sets for upgrading of turbines К-500-65/3000 at Russian Nuclear Power Plants and also hydroturbines for Yegorlik HPP-2 (Russia), two runners and one valve for La Yesca HPP (Mexico), one runner for Shensigou HPP (China), one set of equipment for In Pan HPP (China) were shipped. For upgrading of Dnieper HPP series runner for Kiev HPP No 19, equipment for Kanev HPP No 8 with capacity 20,5 thous. kW and Kiev HPP No 18 with capacity  21 thous kW were shipped.

Among main customers of  "Turboatom" are Russia, Mexico, China, Vietnam, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and other countries of near and far abroad.

Today OJSC "Turboatom" takes part in bids for supply of equipment in India, Brazil, Portugal, Columbia, Turkey, Greece, Finland and Russia.

According to General Director OJSC "Turboatom" Victor Subbotin, balances of work of enterprise for first six months indicates that in spite of crisis it succeeded to keep stability and positive dynamics under main directions of business activity of enterprise. "We do not use bank credits, have no tax debt, transfer for pension and state funds and also we pay salary to our staff in time. I am sure further "Turboatom" will show sustainable development and high rates of expansion of production", he noted.
