OJSC "Turboatom" has finished the reconstruction of cable line 110 kW

On December 2009 after repair-and-renewal operations at OJSC "Turboatom" the unique cable line with the power 110 kW was on, the reconstruction of which has been conducted since June 2009. The repair operations were made LLC "Elektroyuzhmontazh" jointly with the specialists of "Turboatom".

Commissioning the line 110 kW allowed the enterprise to renew voltage in the grid 380 V. Earlier frequent voltage oscillations (from 340 to 440 V) destabilized operation of the equipment.

Now after the reconstruction of the power line workshops, including foundry, work in the complete three-shift mode. Before the repair steel furnaces and machining facility were engaged to the one power supply, therefore were voltage oscillations and breakdowns in operating of working machines, especially in unique. Today steel furnaces are supplied as a separate unit of supply and its work doesn’t influence on anything.

Not the least of the factors is the cut of cost calculation for the electric power. After the commissioning of cable line “Turboatom” will pay for electricity by the first class of consumption, the rate of which 25% lower than by the second class.

In the general calculation of costs of “Turboatom” for energy supplies share of costs for electric power is 50%. In 2009 “Turboatom” consumed 49, 7 Thousands kW – hour of electric power to the sum of about 26 Million hryvnas.
