OJSC "Turboatom" has confirmed the status of the safe equipment supplier

On December 2009 at OJSC "Turboatom" was international independent audit at the accordance of the Quality Management System to international standard ISO 9001:2008. Certification was done by auditors of Australian Company "SAI GLOBAL LIMITED".

During audit check SAI GLOBAL representatives visited plant workshops, manufacture and store places, saw the management system of the enterprise and work organization, assessed the staff qualification and their professional skills. In the issue of the check specialists of the company made writing conclusion that the system of quality management works efficiently at OJSC “Turboatom”, corresponds to International Standards and is recommended for registration   extension of the certificate ISO 9001:2008, which is valid till February 2013.

The initial audit at “Turboatom” was in 1996 and during 14 years the enterprise has confirmed the accordance of the Quality Management System. The certification area concludes: design, manufacture, chief supervision of erection and service: stationary steam turbines, combined-cycle plant, hydraulic turbines, inlet valves, heater, smoke exhaust blowers, condensers for steam turbines and ejectors. The availability of quality certificate gives a possibility to rival in equal with the leading manufacturers of turbine construction equipment and wins in different tenders. Standard ISO 9001:2008 covers all aspects of the enterprise activity, including goals and policy of the plant, requests for documentation conduct, satisfaction of customers’ demands, internal audit and administrative review.

Since September 2009 at Ukraine was approved a new national standard of the quality management system DSTU ISO 9001:2009.

For application of these standards a whole number of actions was provided by the plant specialists, including internal audit, running of which is planned to implement till September 2010.

At OJSC “Turboatom” works the program of upgrading of quality of manufacturing products, designed till 2015.
